To show the world how to work the word though faith; becoming prosperous in spirit, soul and body!

Faith In Action Church was founded by Apostle Marvin Smith in January of 1992. The church began in the living room of his house and that was the seed for the beginning of the ministry. From there, it moved to a hotel in downtown Norfolk with only his family as members. Even though Faith In Action started small, Apostle Smith was not moved by what he saw. He despised not small beginnings.

Our Mission

Faith In Action Church is a church that is on the move for God to set the captives free through the mighty word of God and His precious Holy Spirit by putting their faith into action and watching the word work throughout the body of Christ and to be a living example to the world because faith without works is dead.
